Term 4 Dates 2024: Monday 14th October until Monday 9th December (1 public holiday, 8 classes) Price: $248

Andrew began his pottery career in Oratia, Titirangi, about 50 years ago and after a decade in Coromandel and 20 years in Grey Lynn, he has moved back to Titirangi with his wife Jeannie. Andrew makes a full range of domestic earthenware and salt glazed stoneware

Supported by Pauline McCoy, Monday morning class concentrates on wheel-throwing and has an emphasis on functional domestic ware. Working towards firing a salt or soda kiln twice a year. 

Students must:

  • Bring their own clay tools (some are available for purchase in the office)

  • Purchase their own clay (available at ASP)

  • Pay for their own firing costs

  • Provide own dust mask and gloves for glazing

Please note:

  • ASP is only able to fire clay brands/types that ASP stock

  • Clean up and set up times are within the 3 hours allocated for class time - any pre or post studio time must be signed in and paid for at the office.
