So you’ve carefully crafted and biscuited your pot, but that’s just part of what makes a beautiful final product …. welcome to the world of glazing where the possibilities are infinite!

At the ASP we have a range of mid-fire (cone 6) glazes and high-fire (cone 11) glazes for members and students to use - about twenty altogether. There’s a lot to learn about the glazes and the glazing process and it can be a bit daunting so here are a few guides to help you get the most out of your pot. And remember that potters love sharing what they know so ask for advice from your tutors and other members.
