ASP Member's Directory

You might have noticed a new section on the website - The ASP Member’s Directory. On this page, we are hoping to maintain an ever-growing list of our members’ websites, online stores and social media accounts which showcase their work; to connect our members with one another, as well as to the wider pottery community who may be browsing through the ASP site.

At the moment the list is very short, but we have only gotten started! If you would like to be added to the directory, please email us at the office - asp@ceramics.co.nz - with links to your website/Instagram/Facebook/etc, along with a photo to represent your work - ideally we would like a square photo (1:1 ratio) to fit the layout.

We are really excited about getting this resource together, and looking forward to seeing your fabulous works online!

ASP Shop - name the shop competition!

We are very excited to see the ASP shop coming together, with a range of gorgeous works from our members up for sale right in the heart of the Centre (in the main office building). Each term we will have a new group of members featured on the shelves, so everybody will have a chance to showcase their wares.

We are getting ramped up to start promoting the shop and getting its name out there—except, we don’t have a name! We called on our members to submit suggestions for the shop’s official name, and we’d like to invite everyone to vote for 1 out of 11 proposed names: Vote here! Voting closes this Friday (March 1st).

Big Clay Day Out 2018

A big thank you to everybody who took part in our annual Big Clay Day Out fundraiser this past Sunday!

The day was a huge success, with a great turnout on a fabulous summer day. A wonderful array of pots was quickly snatched up by eager shoppers who filled our studio as soon as doors opened, and outside all sorts of fun activities for young and old kept everyone entertained—not to mention all the delicious food and drinks served up by our lovely volunteers.

Check out the photos from the day here!
