This is a mother-daughter collaboration between a potter and printmaker. We created it during my ‘4th trimester’ after giving birth to Ella Rose’s first child and Annie’s first grandchild. Much more time was spent at home or very locally in those three months of deep love and learning. We spent much of our days on our deck looking out to the bush canopy which is etched onto this pot. Ella threw the pot whilst Annie watched Afra nap. This was Annie’s first time carving on clay.
